Murgutush is one of the ancient dishes of Azerbaijan. As with any dish in the south, this dish is flavored with ground walnuts.
Ingredients:
- 3 medium sized onions
- 1 kg of cholpa
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 100 g of roasted walnuts
- vegetable oil
- abgora
- salt, pepper
Preparation:
Onions and parsley are cleaned, washed and finely chopped. It is fried together in vegetable oil. Cholpa is cleaned and divided into middle parts. When the onion turns golden, cholpa is added to the pan, grated walnuts and abgora are filtered. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, cover and cook over medium heat.
Tip:
To taste, you can add lemon juice along with abgora. When serving the dish, you can add pomegranate or thin slices of lemon.
