Sirdak from the southern regions of Azerbaijan is on the list of light, tasty and easy-to-cook dishes for summer.
Ingredients:
- 200 g of eggplant
- 200 g of tomatoes
- 200 g of green pepper
- 100 g of hot pepper
- 100 g of butter
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 medium red onion
- 1 bunch of parsley
- salt, pepper
Preparation:
Eggplant is cut into layers and fried. Tomatoes and peppers are also cut into rings and added to the pan. Crush the garlic, chop the pomegranate together with the onion and add it to the vegetables. Salt and pepper are sprinkled to taste, and chopped pomegranate parsley is added to the dish at the end.
Tip: Before frying, you can chop the eggplant and soak it in salted water until it becomes bitter. Parsley can be sprinkled on the food while serving.
