The tomb
Tunbaki is an ancient Azerbaijani dish often called "Tunbaki stuffed". We decided to share this interesting recipe with you, as it is very little known nowadays. We are sure you will definitely like it and use it.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg boneless beef
- 500 g of round rice
- 150 g of chestnuts
- 80 g of butter
- 2 medium-sized onions
- 1 bunch of dill
- dry mint
- salt, pepper
Preparation:
The beef is divided into equal slices, beaten until completely soft, sprinkled with salt and pepper. It is allowed to rest for a while, and in the meantime, clean chestnuts, fennel and onion are chopped in another bowl, and the round rice is added, dry mint is sprinkled and mixed. This mixture is placed on the battered beef slices and the slices are rolled up. Prepared dumplings are neatly placed in a ceramic bowl, and quince is added next to it. A little water is poured over it and cooked in the oven or gas for 40-50 minutes.
Tip:
You can use chicken or turkey fillet instead of beef. Also, you can cook the food on gas and wait for a while in a hot oven.
